About KECMT

We have been building sheet metal fabrication machinery since 2008. Today that means around 270 machines a year out of a 12,000 m² facility, most of them configured against a specific customer part rather than sold off a catalogue.

What we build

  • CNC hydraulic press brakes — including torsion bar, full CNC, and electro-hydraulic servo configurations
  • Hydraulic shearing machines — swing beam and guillotine
  • Plate rolling machines
  • CNC turret punch presses
  • Laser cutting machines

Where we differ

Machine builders generally want to sell what is on their line. A meaningful share of the work we take on is the other kind: the part does not fit a standard machine because the throat is too shallow, the daylight too tight, the stroke too short, or the machine simply will not go through the customer's door. Those jobs need geometry decided up front.

We also treat tooling as part of the same conversation rather than a separate problem for later. Machine geometry sets the limits, but what contacts the workpiece is the punch and die, and a specification that stops at the frame leaves out the half that decides bend accuracy. That is not a common combination — most builders do not make tooling, and most tooling houses do not build machines.

The practical consequence is that you can ask us a question about either half and get an answer from someone who has to make both work together. If you want to understand why that matters, this guide on tooling and bend accuracycovers the ground.

How an enquiry goes

The first exchange is about your part, not our price list. Send a drawing, a photograph, or the four numbers that matter — material, thickness, longest bend length, and part depth. If power or space is tight, say so, because those constraints change the answer more than tonnage does.

What comes back is a configuration and a quote, including the tooling that goes with the machine rather than a note to sort it out later. If what you describe does not suit a machine we build, we will say that instead of quoting something close enough.

You can start that arithmetic yourself with thetonnage calculator or themachine selector. Neither needs an email address, and neither sends us anything until you decide to make contact.

What we will not claim

We are not going to tell you we hold certifications we cannot show you, name customers who have not agreed to be named, or quote delivery times we have not confirmed against the current production schedule. If you need any of those verified before you commit, ask, and we will either provide it or tell you plainly that we cannot.

We would rather lose an enquiry on honesty than win one on a claim that falls apart during inspection. Buyers in this market have usually been burned once already, and they can tell the difference.
