Warranty and support terms
Warranty terms are contract terms, not marketing — the binding numbers for your machine are the ones in your order confirmation. This page explains how the coverage works in principle so you know what to ask for and what to expect.
How to read a machine warranty
A warranty is a division of responsibility, and the honest version has three parts: what the factory covers, what the owner covers, and what happens when something fails at 2 a.m. on a Thursday. Ask all three questions before ordering — the answers are more informative than the headline period.
The division of responsibility
| Factory covers | Owner covers |
|---|---|
| Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship on the machine as supplied | Routine maintenance — oil, filters, greasing, cleaning, per the maintenance schedule |
| Components that fail within the agreed period under correct use | Wear parts — tooling, seals, filters, blades |
| Diagnosis support and replacement parts for covered failures | Damage from misuse, operation outside ratings, or unauthorised modification |
| Documentation, drawings and remote support | Operator training beyond the commissioning handover |
Getting the most out of the coverage
- Keep the maintenance log. The one-page-per-machine log in the maintenance guide turns a warranty conversation from an argument into a record.
- Run the acceptance checklist on delivery day. The buyer’s guide has the sequence — before final payment, on your material, at your tonnage.
- Order the wear-part spares with the machine. First filters, seals and a spare tooling set in the same crate.
- Report faults early, with evidence. Serial number, photos, video, and what the machine was doing. Early reports get fixed as warranty items; late ones get argued about.
What we will not do
We will not print a warranty period here as marketing and then negotiate it away in the contract. The binding terms for your machine are the ones in your order confirmation — read them, ask about anything ambiguous, and compare them against the division of responsibility above. A supplier who will not put the period in writing has answered the question.
The service and support page describes what support looks like after the machine arrives, and the quality control page describes the inspection that makes warranty claims rare in the first place.
Frequently asked questions
What does the warranty typically cover?
Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship on the machine itself — the frame, hydraulics, electrical system and control as supplied — for the period stated in your order contract. Components with their own manufacturer terms, such as the control unit, are usually covered by that manufacturer’s terms rather than ours.
What is not covered?
Wear parts — tooling, seals, filters, blades, belts and similar consumables — damage from misuse, operation outside the machine’s ratings, missing or incorrect maintenance, unauthorised modification, and damage in transit after the machine has been accepted. Routine maintenance is the owner’s responsibility; the maintenance guide is the schedule we recommend.
How long is the warranty?
The period is agreed per order and depends on the machine and the market. Ask for it in writing on the quote before you commit — a warranty period that only exists in a conversation does not exist.
How do spare parts work?
We stock and ship spare parts for machines we build, and parts orders are matched to the serial number so you get the part that actually fits. Order wear-part spares with the machine — the first filter and seal set travelling in the same crate avoids a second shipment and a second wait.
Is remote support available?
Yes — video call and messaging support with the engineers who build the machines, in English, during our working hours. Most control and setup questions are answerable that way. The troubleshooting guide covers what you can diagnose on site before escalating.
What if a part fails during the warranty period?
Report it with the serial number, photos or video, and the fault description. We diagnose, ship the part, and walk your technician through the replacement where that is practical. Where an on-site visit is genuinely required, it is arranged case by case and agreed in advance — it is not a silent extra.
