Projects & commissioning highlights
This page shows what delivery looks like from our side of the desk: machines commissioned on customer floors, live demonstrations at exhibitions, custom-engineered configurations and upgrade projects. No client names we have not been free to publish, no success metrics we cannot document — just the work, stated accurately.
110-ton press brake line, commissioned on site
In April 2025 we completed a 110T / 4000 mm electric-hydraulic press brake together with a matching shear, both finished with on-site commissioning at the customer's factory — Y1/Y2 cylinder synchronisation, backgauge setup and operator training on their own production parts before the line went into production. The full commissioning record is in the news section with photographs from the floor.
This is the standard scope on every KECMT export order, not a highlight reel: pre-shipment testing and video, then commissioning and training on site before the machine is signed off for production.
Exhibition demonstrations
We exhibit where our buyers are. At the Xi'an Metal Fabrication Machine Exhibition (13-16 March 2025, booth 2A208) our electric-hydraulic CNC press brakes ran live bending demonstrations all week — ±0.01 mm repeat positioning accuracy and 180-200 mm/s rapid bending speeds demonstrated on real parts, not spec sheets. The exhibition write-up covers the machines we showed, and our booth appearances at the China Eurasia industrial exhibition in 2024 are documented in the home page gallery.
If you would rather see a machine before committing than read about one, ask us where we are exhibiting next — or arrange a demonstration run on your own material.
Custom-engineered configurations
A meaningful share of what we build does not exist in any catalogue, because the part does not exist in any catalogue either. The configurations below are standing product lines, each built for a geometry a standard frame cannot reach:
- Deep-throat press brakes — for long members bent far from the edge, where standard uprights hit the workpiece before the punch does.
- Tandem press brake systems — coordinated two-machine setups bending components longer than any single bed.
- Robotic press brake cells — integrated automation for high-volume production, including cobot cells compared on the numbers against premium-brand automation.
- Automatic press brakes — automatic loading configurations for batch work where operator time dominates the cycle.
- Cable tray making lines — complete roll-forming lines for the cable tray and enclosure trade.
Custom work starts with the part drawing, not a price list. Send the geometry that does not fit a standard frame and we will tell you what building for it involves.
Retrofit and upgrade projects
Not every project is a new machine. Retrofit and upgrade work covers NC-to-CNC conversion, backgauge upgrades, control replacement and tooling changes — and the used-versus-new guide exists because the honest recommendation is sometimes neither. The DIY press brake kits serve the other end of the same market: shops that want to build bending capability onto a shop press they already own.
What we will and will not show
We show machines, configurations, certificates and the commissioning process — all of which are verifiable. We do not show customer names without permission, and we do not publish performance claims ("40% less downtime", "35% more output") that cannot be documented. When you ask us for references, the answer you get will be the accurate one, including "that customer prefers to stay private".
Frequently asked questions
Why are there no customer names or case-study metrics on this page?
Because we will not publish references we cannot document, and we will not dress up a delivery as a quantified success story with invented percentages. What we can show is the machine, the configuration, the commissioning process and the certificate — the parts a buyer can verify. If you need references, ask us directly and we will tell you honestly which ones we are free to share.
Can I see a machine running before I order?
Yes. We run live bending demonstrations at exhibitions — we exhibited at the Xi'an Metal Fabrication Machine Exhibition in March 2025 with press brakes running demos all week, and at the China Eurasia industrial exhibition in 2024. Ask us where we will be next; a demo on your own material is also possible for serious enquiries.
Do you take on non-standard machine projects?
Regularly. Deep-throat frames, tandem systems, robotic cells and non-standard bed lengths are part of the catalogue, not exceptions. Send the part geometry that does not fit a standard frame and we will tell you what it takes to build for it.
How long does a custom configuration take?
Standard machines ship against published lead times; custom frames and configurations add engineering and first-article time. The honest answer depends on the deviation from standard, which is why we ask for the part drawing before quoting a date rather than quoting a number we cannot hold.
Start your project with the part
Send the part that does not fit a standard machine — drawing, photo, or just the geometry — and we will scope what building for it takes.
